Lynne and her husband Don adopted Chandler
in 2004. Chandler was one of five Finnish Spitz puppies
from a litter in Tennessee, three of which ended up at
the Animal Shelter.
Chandler had been bought by someone
outside of a Wal-Mart and then when he barked too much
he was turned into the pound where another Rescue spotted
him for us, and helped us get him into a foster home.
Chandler then moved to PA to live with Lynne and Don
where he is probably one of the luckiest Finnish Spitz
around. Lynne and Don have spent much time spoiling Chandler
and he lives on several acres and is much loved by his
family.
Here are a couple pictures of Lynne
and Chandler at his recent Behavior Class Graduation.
You can see Chandler is quite pleased with his new degree,
and Lynne and Don are very proud of the boy!
Thank you Lynne and Don for giving this
boy a great home.
Penny was adopted by Audrey and her
family. Penny came to Audrey overweight and hardly able
to get around, but with the loving help of Audrey and
her family Penny has slimmed down and is now enjoying
the good life in MO.
Presley was adopted in 2006 and now
lives with his new family, Abby and Karl, in Washington
State. With the help of his dedicated and adoring family,
Presley has slimmed down from 75 lbs to a wild and crazy
39 lbs!!!
Presley has a GREAT home, and we know
he loves his new family as much as they love him. Thank
you Abby and Karl for giving this boy a wonderful home.
Boomer was taken in by a nice neighbor
when his family decided they didn't want him anymore.
The neighbor contacted rescue and Boomer found a perfect
home with Doug and Joan in British Columbia. Boomer has
an older Finnish Spitz brother, and together with his
family he loves go for long walks and just hang out.
Boomer has kept Joan and Doug busy with his happy active
view of the world. Thank you Joan and Doug for helping
Boomer find his perfect home.
